To provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment where your child can feel comfortable and have fun while you attend our service and adult classes.

Our Staff

Entrusting your child to the care of others is a big decision. That is why we take our responsibility very seriously. Focusing on safety, cleanliness, and compassionate care. Our Children's ministry is staffed by experienced and background checked caregivers who are passionate about working with children. We will work with you side by side to help your child feel comfortable to give you peace of mind, knowing your little one is in good hands. So that you can drop your little one off with confidence, knowing they will be loved and safe so you can enjoy the service or adult classes.

Nursery


At FCCWC we believe that nurturing our youngest members is a sacred trust. Our nursery ministry, lead by Chrissy Downen, is a place where we plant the first seeds of faith in the hearts and minds of children. All while providing a safe and loving space for them to learn and play. We partner with parents to help little ones experience God's love through caring staff and a positive atmosphere. We believe every child is a gift from God, and it is our joy to care for them.   


B.L.A.S.T.

B.L.A.S.T is a class for our K-3rd graders, lead by many teachers on a rotating schedule. We focus on building their foundation in Christ. The kids learn to have a relationship with our creator through prayer and worship. They also get to know Jesus from all the Bible stories. Psalms 149:1 says Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song. Sing his praises in the assembly of the faithful. Our children love to honor God by singing and dancing whenever they can.

Next Gen

Our Next Generation class is led by Ryan and Heather Reavill. This group is for grades 4th-8th. This class is focused on building Identity in Christ and their relationship with God and their peers. We teach them Godly values and morals. We talk a lot about who God wants them to be and not what others think they should be. We encourage them to find friends who respect and support their journey of faith. Friends can sharpen one another, like iron sharpens iron, as stated in Proverbs 27:17.


Rooted

Rooted, lead by Ben and Marcie Caldwell, is more of a group than a specific class. We like to start our youth out young in teaching and discipling them into the Christians God calls us to be. Our group age can range from 5th thru 12th graders, depending on the day, study, time and event.  Our 5th-12th graders meet on Wednesday nights for worship and study together. We have 2 separate classes on Sunday mornings for them.  5th thru 8th graders have a class while High Schoolers have a class alone. The age ranges for all our activities, events and fun are determined at the time and type of gathering.
